Kaelan Hansson is originally from New Hampshire’s Connecticut River Valley. He attended Union College in Schenectady N.Y., majoring in mechanical engineering with minors in music and French language. He studied organ with Dianne McMullen and composition with Hilary Tann. He currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he is pursuing a doctorate in aerospace engineering. He has also studied organ with James Kibbie and Kola Owolabi. He was selected as a composer for the American Guild of Organists 2018 Student Commissioning Project.
